No. 1 Tip to Fear of Public Speaking

Before we get into the #1 tip of conquering the fear of public speaking, do you know that:

> Public speaking fear has 10% impairment on wages

> Public speaking fear has 10% influence on college graduation

> Public speaking fear has a 15% effect on promotion to management

That’s not fair! I think the ability to speak in front of crowd is a born-gift, I wasn’t born with that and it’s unfair to me! If that’s what you think, you might want to shift your perspective. If that’s what you think, you probably have fear of public speaking, not that you cannot speak, but you have that fear.

The fear of public speaking is real. In fact, there’s a term for it- called “glossophobia”. If you have one of the following symptoms, you could be suffering from Glossophobia:-

> You have severe anxiety prior to (or just having the thought of) having to verbally communicate with any group or strangers

> You try to avoid events which might draw attention to individuals

> You suffer from physical distress, nausea, or feelings of panic
